Увод и циљ: Рак дебелог црева је један  од најчешће дијагностикованих карцинома и најчешћи разлог смртности од свих карцинома. И даље постоји недостатак испитивања, укључујући утицај ензима уратних путева на прогресивност и инвазију колоректалног карцинома, те је циљ овог рада да истражи улогу активности аденозин деаминазе (АДА), 5′-нуклеотидазе (5′-НТ) и ксантин оксидазе (КСО ) у односу  на ТБА-реактивне супстанце (ТБАРС) као маркер оксидативног стреса у прогресији и инвазији хуманог карцинома дебелог црева.

 

Материјали и методе: Узели смо узорке ткива карцинома, здраво контролно ткиво и ткиво које окружује тумор, од 50 пацијената са примарним карциномом дебелог црева у сва четири клиничка стадија болести. У 10% хомогенатима је спроведено истраживање одговарајућим методама.

 

Резултати: Активност АДА и КСО у ткиву тумора и ткиву уз тумор била је значајно већа у поређењу са здравим ткивом дебелог црева. 5'-НТ није значајно већи у ткиву карцинома. Највећа активност АДА и КСО је на стадионима тумора Т2 и Т3. ТБАРС има највећу концентрацију у стадијумима Т3 и Т4 тумора.

 

Закључак: Презентовани резултати сугеришу да би један од могућих узрока оксидативног стреса у карциному дебелог црева могла бити висока активност КСО и АДА. То може укључити те ензиме у малигну трансформацију епитела дебелог црева, као и у напредовање и инвазију хкарцинома дебелог црева. На овај начин, процена активности АДА и КСО могла би да помогне у процени маргина како би се утврдила опсежност ресекције дебелог црева.Такође ови енѕими могу имати значај у дијагнози, али и у прогнози болести.
