Sažetak


Buka prožima svakodnevni život čoveka i predstavlja jednog od savremenih zagađivača. Definiše se kao neželjeni zvuk i uzrokuje auditivne i neauditivne efekte na zdravlje ljudi. Osim profesionalne izloženosti buci u radnoj sredini, sve je veći potencijalni nepovoljni uticaj buke u svakodnevnom životu kao egzogenog stresora na zdravlje ljudi. Buka ima brojne efekte na zdravlje ljudi, koji mogu biti privremeni i trajni. U profesionalnim okolnostima najčešće dolazi do gubitka sluha i zujanja u ušima. Brojne studije ukazuju na dejstvo buke na nastanak psihološkog distresa, poremećaja sna, porasta zastupljenosti arterijske hipertenzije i kardiovaskularnih bolesti, pojavu dijabetes melitusa, glavobolje i bolesti pluća. Takođe je poznato nepovoljno dejstvo buke u zdravstvenim ustanovama, dok je značajan i specifičan uticaj buke na zdravlje posebno osetljivih grupa ljudi, kao što su autistične i osobe starijeg životnog doba. Kroz različite strategije i edukacione programe moguće je smanjiti nepovoljni uticaj buke na zdravlje opšte populacije.
