/ Kako se odbraniti: emotivna komponenta medijske manipulacije

Sažetak


Tehnike medijske manipulacije u eri post-istine dominantno karakteriše izazivanje emotivne reakcije medijske publike. Lažne vesti, kao jedan od pojavnih oblika post-istine, predstavljaju fabrikovanu informaciju koja je usmerena ka ostvarivanju medijskog cilja, neretko sa vrlo jasnom ekonomskom i političkom namerom. Istovremeno, o medijskoj i informacionoj pismenosti se često govori kao o logičnom rešenju za medijsku manipulaciju, koje zagovara kritičku evaluaciju sadržaja kojem se izlažemo. Međutim, teorijski okvir još uvek nema adekvatan odgovor na efektivnost medijske i informacione pismenosti u odbrani od medijske manipulacije. U ovom preglednom radu tvrdimo da informaciona pismenost, u poređenju sa medijskom pismenošću, predstavlja neophodan i važniji prvi korak ka odbrani od fabrikovanih informacija fokusiranih na emotivan odgovor publike. Analizom literature izlažemo tehnike koje mogu biti korisne u zaštititi od različitih vidova manipulacije u medijskom prostoru. One pre svega predstavljaju sposobnost registrovanja i istraživanja verodostojnosti sadržaja, osvešćenost o alternativnim informacijama, kao i mogućnost njihove etičke upotrebe i diseminacije.
