Sažetak


Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) je nasledna multisistemska bolest, nastala kao posledica genetskih defekata u strukturnim proteinima kože. Zavisno od tipa bolesti, simptomi variraju od lokalizovane krhkosti i bula do široko rasprostranjenog generalizovanog oblika, uključujući ekstrakutane bolesti. Kod najtežih oblika, EB dovodi do smrtnog ishoda u najranijem periodu života. Lečenje EB je kompleksno i obično zahteva angažovanje više različitih specijalista. U odsustvu kurativne terapije, lečenje je orijentisano na suportivnu negu, kontrolu simptoma bolesti i prevenciju blagih do teških komplikacija. Nova nada za lečenje rana kod pacijenata sa distrofičnim oblikom EB, starijih od 6 meseci, je vektorska genska terapija Vyjuvek-om (beremagene geperpavec) bazirana na herpes-simpleks virusu tipa 1.
