INTERACTION OF VULCANIZATION FACTORS DURING CONTINUOUS RUBBER EXTRUSION
Abstract
The objective of this study was to investigate the interaction factors during the technological processes of rubber-insulated conductor’s production during continuous extrusion process. Using the theory of correlation: the multiple and partial correlation, studied was the dependence of rubber’s insulation tensile strength in the function of steam pressure and vulcanization time, in the pipe, during the continuous vulcanization. The experiment was carried out under the working conditions and based on the results obtained defined was the mathematical relation for the insulation tensile strength in dependence to the pressure and vulcanization time during the extrusion of the conductor with the surface of 2.5 mm2 for the product H05RNN 2.5 mm2. It was concluded, by the results obtained, that for keeping the vulcanization quality at high level, required is to keep pressure constant and to change the vulcanization time during the extrusion process.
