Slike (ne)sigurnosti: vizuelno predstavljanje granica, migranata i kontrole u medijima u Srbiji

Sažetak


Medijske slike granica i kontrole su veoma česte u izveštavanju o migrantskoj krizi u evropskim medijima, a negativne vesti i prikazivanje migranata kao pretnje po bezbednost i javno zdravlje dominiraju medijskim narativima širom sveta. Ovaj rad istražuje kako se koncept granice koristi kao moćan vizuelni narativ u medijskoj reprezentaciji odnosa između bezbednosti granica i ljudskih prava u kontekstu migracija u Srbiji, tranzitnoj zemlji koja se nalazi na zapadnobalkanskoj migrantskoj ruti. Kvantitativno-kvalitativna analiza zasnovana je na 300 fotografija objavljenih u relevantnim nacionalnim i regionalnim štampanim medijima i njihovim onlajn verzijama od 2015. do 2020. godine. Rezultati pokazuju da se vizuelno prikazivanje zidova, ograda, kontrole, reda i zakona, moderne tehnološke opreme, pripadnika snaga bezbednosti i važnih političkih ličnosti često intenzivira senzacionalističkim naslova i tabloidnim, često dezinformišućim izveštavanjem, kao i fotografijama na kojima se migranti uokviruju kao pretnja po granice, ljude i opštu bezbednost.
