The UTICAJ REZULTATA PRIJEMNOG ISPITA NA UPIS I DIPLOMIRANJE STUDENATA KRIMINALISTIČKO-POLICIJSKOG UNIVERZITETA

Sažetak


Cilj istraživanja bio je da se utvrdi da li postoji razlika u rezultatima prijemnog ispita između kandidata koji su upisali studije na Kriminalističko-policijskom univerzitetu (KPU) i onih koji nisu, kao i između diplomiranih studenata i onih koji su odustali od studiranja. Analizom podataka od 1657 kandidata koji su polagali prijemni ispit na KPU-u,  ukupan uzorak klasifikovan je u odnosu pol, uspešnost prijemnog ispita i status diplomiranja. Posmatrane su varijable: uspeh u srednjoj školi (USŠ) i tri komponente prijemnog ispita: test iz srpskog jezika (TSJ), test opšte informisanosti (TOI) i test procene bazičnih motoričkih sposobnosti (BMS). Za utvrđivanje razlika između grupa korišćen je nezavisni t-test i ustanovljena je veličina efekta. Rezultati su pokazali da su kandidati koji su upisali studije, bez obzira na pol, ostvarili znatno bolje rezultate u svim segmentima prijemnog ispita u odnosu na one koji nisu upisali studije. Pored toga, diplomirani studenti su pokazali bolje rezultate na u USŠ, TSJ i TOI, što može ukazivati na prediktivnu vrednost ovih komponenti za akademski uspeh. S druge strane, nije pronađena značajna razlika u BMS između diplomiranih i nediplomiranih studenata, što naglašava njegovu jedinstvenu eliminatornu ulogu u selekcionom procesu, s obzirom na to da je BMS jedini test sa eliminacionim pragom. Studija takođe ističe značaj kontinuiranog učenja, istrajnosti i motivacije, reflektovanih u rezultatima prijemnog ispita, u ostvarivanju akademskog uspeha. Istraživanje sugeriše da bi uvođenje minimalnog praga bodova za druga komponente prijemnog ispita moglo potencijalno unaprediti efikasnost učenja i stopu diplomiranja na KPU-u.
