УЛОГА ДРЖАВЕ У ИЗГРАДЊИ ОДРЖИВОГ НАЦИОНАЛНОГ ИДЕНТИТЕТА: СТУДИЈА СЛУЧАЈА МЕКСИКО

Sažetak


У раду се разматра процес изградње националног идентитета и улога државе у том процесу. У многим друштвима, државе су монополисале читав процес, али је успешност са којом су тај процес спроводиле упитан. На студији случаја Мексика, истраживање се бави управо могућношћу изградње стабилног и одрживог националног идентитета од стране државе. Одговор на истраживачко питање аутори налазе у анализи улоге мексичке државе и владајућих режима у изградњи различитих наратива и упоредној анализи структурних, историјски условљених фактора. Закључак је да држава производњом и наметањем вештачких дискурса и идеја не може да компензује аутентичност и стабилност националног идентитета који се путем појава дугог трајања самостално развија.
