Ko je najvažniji oslonac adolescentima? Značaj socijalne podrške u predviđanju aspekata mentalnog zdravlja srednjoškolaca u Srbiji
Sažetak
Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je ispitati prediktivnu ulogu doživljene socijalne podrške u mentalnom zdravlju adolescenata iz Srbije. Uzorak se sastojao od 217 kragujevačkih srednjoškolaca, oba pola, uzrasta od 16 do 18 godina. Mereni su percipirana socijalna podrška od strane porodice, prijatelja, značajne druge osobe i stepen depresivnosti, anksioznosti, stresa i zadovoljstva životom koji su uzeti kao indikatori mentalnog zdravlja. Adolescenti u Srbiji percipiraju visok nivo socijalne podrške (porodice, prijatelja, značajne druge osobe), gde devojke postižu značajno više skorove na percipiranoj socijalnoj podršci (ukupan skor) kako od strane prijatelja tako i od značajne druge osobe. Polne razlike nisu zabeležene u percipiranoj socijalnoj podršci od strane porodice. Rezultati pokazuju da devojke iskazuju statistički značajno više skorove na depresivnosti, anksioznosti i stresu u odnosu na momke. Rezultati regresione analize ukazuju na to da socijalna podrška (od strane porodice, prijatelja i značajne druge osobe) značajno predviđa sve indikatore
mentalnog zdravlja, objašnjavajući 7,9–19% varijanse, pri čemu se kao individualni značajni prediktor izdvaja socijalna podrška od strane porodice. Dobijeni rezultati naglašavaju važnost porodičnog sistema kao ključnog protektivnog faktora mentalnog zdravlja adolescenata i neophodnost u osmišljavanju preventivnih i edukativnih programa koji jačaju porodične i vršnjačke mreže podrške, sa ciljem unapređenja psihološkog blagostanja mladih.
