KARAKTERISTIKE PACIJENATA SA RETOVIM SINDROMOM: SERIJA SLUČAJEVA

Sažetak


Rettov sindrom predstavlja neurorazvojni poremećaj uzrokovan mutacijom MECP2 gena na X hromozomu. Osnovni elementi kliničke slike su poremećaji disanja, epileptički napadi, skolioza, poremećaji hoda i konstipacija uz čestu pojavu zastoja u rastu i neuhranjenosti.

Naša  transverzalna studija obuhvatila je 29 pacijentkinja sa Rettovim sindromom lečenih u Institutu za majku i dete ''Dr Vukan Čupić'' u Beogradu. Pacijentkinje su antropometrijski obrađene na osnovu merenja telesne visine i telesne težine i izračunavanja indeksa telesne mase. Stepen skolioze, učestalost epileptičkih napada, pokretljivost i težina respiratorne disfunkcije procenjivani su na osnovu kliničkih skala za određivanje težine oboljenja. Statistička obrada podataka obavljena je u softverskom paketu PASW Statistics 18.

Prosečan uzrast pacijentkinja bio je 145,5+- 90,1 meseci. Prosečna visina bila je 125,2+- 22,1cm , prosečna telesna masa 27,6+-12,3 kg, a prosečni inedeks telesne mase 16,6+-3,5 kg/m2. Prosečni z skorovi za telesnu visinu, masu i BMI za uzrast bili su statistički značajno niži u odnosu na opštu populaciju, što je izraženo negativnim z skorovima. Nađena je statistički značajna negativna povezanost između starosti pacijentkinja i prosečnih z skorova za telesnu visinu za uzrast (r=- 0,464 p=0,011), masu za uzrast (r=-0,433 p=0,019) i BMI za uzrast (r=-0,433 p=0,019). Stepen skolioze je bio statistički značajno negativno povezan sa prosečnim z skorovima za telesnu visinu i masu za uzrast, ali ne i sa prosečnim z skorom za BMI za uzrast.

Zastoj u rastu i neuhranjenost predstavljaju značajne probleme koji se javljaju u okviru Rettovog sindroma. Otkrivanje faktora od kojih zavise rast i uhranjenost pacijenata sa Rettovim sindromom, bi moglo značajno da doprinese unapređenju kvaliteta života bolesnica sa Rettovim sindromom i eventualnoj korekciji pristupa simptomatskoj i drugoj suportivnoj terapiji.
