Sažetak
Sima Marković je najznačajniji srpski intelektualac komunističkog pokreta međuratne Jugoslavije. Svoja ideološka ubeđenja Marković je razvijao putem iscrpnog proučavanja svih nosećih pitanja društvenog razvoja. Njegov odnos prema ekonomiji, političkom i nacionalnom pitanju proisticao je iz težnje da ostane dosledan osnovama marksističkog učenja uz istovremeno preispitivanje postojećih saznanja u vezi sa njim. U svojim stavovima, uprkos isticanja ideoloških uporišta, Marković je često bio originalan. To je zadovoljavalo njegov istraživački duh, ali je i otvaralo prostor za sumnju u podređenost ideološkom, a pre svega partijskom i liderskom autoritetu. Njegovi stavovi o nacionalizmu u odnosu na internacionalni karakter komunističkog pokreta su noseća tema rada.
