Vegetarijanska etika i duh kapitalizma
Sažetak
Tekst objašnjava glavne elemente etike životnog, duhovnog i moralnog opredeljenja: vegetarijanstva. Daje početni uvid u njegov odnos prema „duhu kapitalizma“. Analitičko-deskriptivnim metodom autorka raščlanjuje vegetarijansku etiku na elemente moralnog odnošenja prema životinjama, planeti i prirodi, budućim generacijama i sebi. Broj pristalica ove životne filozofije raste i oni će možda uskoro postati važni društveni akteri na globalnom nivou. Vegetarijanska etika, iako se u osnovi suprotstavlja pojedinim bitnim elementima kapitalizma, to jest – onima koji se odnose na masovni uzgoj i korišćenje životinja u industriji, ne predstavlja opasnost po sam sistem. Štaviše, vegetarijanska industrija se sve više razvija, kao i njeno tržište, postajući i sama savremeni globalni fenomen.
