Sažetak

U studiji se razmatra susret predsednika srpske vlade Nikole Pašića i britanskog premijera Dejvida Lojda Džordža u Londonu, 15. oktobra 1918. godine. Dvojica državnika su tom prilikom iskazala svoje poglede ka situaciji na teritoriji, gde se očekivao nastanak jugoslovenske države. Iz Pašićevih stavova je jasno proisticalo, da je odlučujuća uloga u procesu ujedinjenja Srba, Hrvata i Slovenaca trebalo da pripadne Srbiji. Lojd Džordž je, međutim, naglašavao drugi bitan momenat budućeg ujedinjenja – stav lokalnog jugoslovenskog stanovištva na teritoriji Austrougarske. Složena politička dešavanja i proces raspada Austrougarske nisu ostavila puno prostora za ostvarenje težnji Nikole Pašića, ali isto tako i za isticanje stava lokalnog stanovništva, o kome je govorio Lojd Džordž.
