Sažetak


Svet koji se globalizuje i diverzifikuje zahteva od sociologije da stalno redefiniše svoje granice, posebno u odnosu na psihologiju. Takođe je neophodno da se identifikuje osobenost sociološkog interesa za takvo psihološko pitanje kao što je mentalno zdravlje. Ovo može da se postigne usredsređujući fokus sociološkog istraživanja na društveno blagostanje koje može da se „meri” iz tri perspektive: prvo, identifikacija vrednosnih orijentacija; drugo, opisivanje strahovanja koja preovlađuju u društvu ili u njegovim posebnim grupama, i treće, pokušaji da se meri nivo sreće, njegovi faktori i sastavni elementi u izrazima njihove „veličine”, promena i ne/menjanja na nacionalnom nivou i u uporednoj perspektivi. Članak predstavlja neke empirijske primere sve tri sociološke „dimenzije” društvenog blagostanja.
