Procena reakcija lokalnih seoskih vođa na izazove sa kojima su se suočila domaćinstva tokom zaključavanja usled koronavirusa 2019. godine u Južnoafričkoj Republici

Sažetak


Ova studija istražuje napore lokalnih vođa sela Tsvinga da odgovore na izazove pandemije COVID-19 koja je pogodila seoska domaćinstva. Studija polazi od ideja afrocentrizma kako bi procenila reakciju vođa lokalne zajednice na pandemiju tokom prvih 65 dana zaključavanja Južnoafričke Republike zbog virusa COVID-19. Podaci su sakupljeni u polustrukturiranim intervjuima kako sa lokalnim seoskim vođama, tako i sa lokalnim opštinskim timom zaduženim za mere tokom pandemije COVID-19. Utvrđeno je da ne bi bio postignut nikakav značajan napredak da lokalno rukovodstvo nije prilagodilo nacionalnu strategiju za borbu protiv virusa COVID-19 konkretnoj situaciji u zajednici. Stoga studija preporučuje sveobuhvatno uključivanje svih zainteresovanih strana i pristup od dna ka vrhu prilikom izrade strategija za sprečavanje pandemije kako bi strategija mogla da odgovori na promenljivu dinamiku u različitim regionima ove zemlje.
