Nacionali identitet srednjoškolaca u Republici Srbiji

Sažetak


Cilj rada je bio ispitati strukturu i izraženost nacionalnog identiteta kod srednjoškolaca (N=568) u različitim gradovima u Srbiji, njegovu povezanost sa samopoštovanjem i motivom postignuća, kao i razlike u odnosu na sociodemografske karakteristike (pol i mesto boravka). Korišćeni instrumenti: Skala nacionalnog identiteta NAIT, Skala globalnog samopoštovanja i Skala za merenje motiva postignuća MOP 2002. Rezultati su pokazali da su vrednosti nacionalnog identiteta iznad teorijskog proseka, a značajno su viši od vrednosti dobijenih kod adolescenata u jednom ranijem istraživanju. Od opštih karakteristika vlastitog naroda, srednjoškolci više vrednuju kulturu u odnosu na istoriju, karakterne osobine i državne institucije (koje vrednuju najniže u odnosu na sva ostala obeležja), smatrajući da je od pojedinačnih osobina najizraženija hrabrost, a najmanje izraženo licemerje. Dobijena je pozitivna korelacija nacionalnog identiteta sa samopoštovanjem i motivom postignuća, pri čemu je motiv postignuća i značajan prediktor nacionalnog identiteta. Utvrđene su značajne razlike u izraženosti nacionalnog identiteta srednjoškolaca u odnosu na mesto boravka (srednjoškolci iz Beograda imaju viši nivo nacionalnog identiteta u odnosu na svoje vršnjake iz Niša i Kosovske Mitrovice).
