Evrostranke u sistemu predstavničke demokratije Evropske unije – u traganju za identitetom
Sažetak
Ugovor iz Lisabona predviđa da će funkcionisanje Evropske unije biti zasnovano na predstavničkoj demokratiji. Glavni nosioci predstavničke demokratije trebalo bi da budu političke stranke, u ovom slučaju evropske političke stranke. Zato je predmet ovoga rada položaj evrostranaka u političkom sistemu Evropske unije. Osnovno pitanje je da li su evrostranke u mogućnosti da doprinesu demokratskom funkcionisanju političkog sistema Evropske unije i na taj način izgrade svoj prepoznatljiv identitet. Ukoliko imamo u vidu postojeći konstitucionalni poredak Unije, i položaj evrostranaka u njemu, jasno je da one nisu u stanju da doprinesu formiranju evropske političke svesti i izražavanju volje građana Unije.
