Društveni kontekst nasilja u romanu Besnilo Borislava Pekića

Sažetak


Tema rada je motiv nasilja kao društvene pojave u romanu Besnilo Borislava Pekića. Istražuje se stepen književnog posredovanja društvenog pitanja nasilja, u vidu dileme o njegovoj inherentnosti i problematizovanja situacija u kojima se čini da je ono neizbežno ili čak da nailazi na odobravanje. Ispituje se i uloga odnosa pojedinca i grupe u manifestaciji nasilja. U društvenim naukama i humanistici nisu retke isključive perspektive na ljudsku prirodu uokvirene rusoovskim i hobsovskim pristupom. Sociološka analiza u radu teži rasvetljavanju jednostranih pogleda na ljudsku prirodu i pitanje civilizovanog društva, ukazivanjem na ambivalentni status nasilja u vanrednim situacijama i određenim društvenim kontekstima. Sa književnoteorijskog aspekta, analizira se aerodrom u karantinu kao metafora društva u krizi, te uloga Hitroa kao poprišta borbe za vlast, politička neslaganja, međuetnička ali i lična razračunavanja. Problematizacija zla putem motiva genetskog inženjeringa i odbeglog virusa Besnilo približava tradiciji kritike društva u naučnofantastičnoj književnosti. Cilj rada je istraživanje složene dinamike između pojedinca, vanrednih situacija i autoriteta, koja pogoduje relativizaciji značenja nasilja i faktora koji doprinose njegovom prihvatanju, na koje upozorava Pekićev roman.
