Korporacije kao akteri militarizacije policije: primer iz SAD
Sažetak
U savremenom globalizovanom društvu korporacije su prerasle okvire klasičnih ekonomskih subjekata i postale ključni akteri u ekonomskim, političkim, kulturnim i tehnološkim procesima. Njihova ekonomska moć, često merljiva sa državnim budžetom mnogih zemalja, ili čak veća od njega, osim velikog uticaja na globalna tržišta i tokove kapitala, omogućava im oblikovanje javnih politika kroz fondacije i finansijsku podršku političkim strukturama. Sektor odbrane, kao izuzetno profitabilan, već dugi niz decenija je u fokusu korporacija. U tehnološkom aspektu, dronovi, oklopna vozila, poluautomatsko i automatsko oružje, sistemi za masovni nadzor – sve češće prelaze iz vojnog u policijski sektor. U društvenom aspektu vojna oprema i obuka podstiču „ratni“ mentalitet u policijskim strukturama. U navedenom smislu, korporacije imaju veliki uticaj u procesu militarizacije policije, a ovaj fenomen je posebno vidljiv u SAD. Za dokazivanje navedene hipoteze u našem istraživanju koristićemo kombinovani metodološki pristup, koji se sastoji od metode studije slučaja, metode analize sadržaja i kritičko-analitičke metode.
