Sažetak
Светска здравствена организација једна је од специјализованих агенција Уједињених нација. Њен рад и функција добили су на још већем значају у 2020. години са појавом Ковид-19 пандемије. Очи целе међународне заједнице гледале су у ову организацију и њеног Генералног директора. Данас се могу чути различите критике кад је у питању њена ефикасност. Ауторка ће у овом раду најпре представити саму организацију и њен значај. Потом ће бити указано на делање Светске здравствене организације током пандемије, кроз појашњавање појма јавне здравствене претње од међународног значаја и употребу Међународног здравственог правилника и на крају ће се дискутовати о евентуалној реформи овог тела. Циљ овог рада јесте да упозна читаоце са Светском здравственом организацијом и стави је у контекст године која је за нама и текуће године.
