Европски акт о слободи медија: развој регулаторног оквира и изазови у примени
Sažetak
Правна регулација медија има кључну улогу у заштити демократије и обезбеђивању правилног функционисања унутрашњег тржишта Европске уније, будући да омогућава слободан проток информација, јача медијски плурализам и умањује ризике од политичког и економског утицаја. Ови циљеви налазе се у самом средишту Европског акта о слободи медија (European Media Freedom Act – EMFA), као првог обавезујућег правног оквира Европске уније посвећеног заштити слободе и плурализма медија. У раду се анализира развој правног оквира медијског права Европске уније и околности које су довеле до усвајања EMFA, као и изазови који се јављају у раној фази његове примене. Посебна пажња посвећена је развоју медијског права Европске уније – од Директиве „Телевизија без граница“, преко Директиве о аудиовизуелним медијским услугама, до пакета DSA/DMA – што илуструје разлоге за усвајање јединственог регулаторног акта у форми уредбе. Анализа пружа преглед кључних регулаторних аспеката Европског акта о слободи медија и разматра изазове који прате његову примену у државама чланицама Европске уније
