The Missing Piece of the Puzzle Revisited: Articles in Secondary school EFL Textbooks

Oslanjajući se na dosadašnja istraživanja (Gaskell & Cobb, 2004; Trenkić, 2008; Veličković, 2021) i uzimajući u obzir nedostatak naučnih radova posvećenih podučavanja članova u kasnijim fazama usvajanja engleskog jezika kao stranog, cilj ovog istraživanja bio je da istraži kako se članovi predstavljaju i uvežbaju u udžbenicima engleskog jezika za srednje škole, i to na osnovu pet setova udžbenika: izuzetno popularnog britanskog Headway, zatim srpskog Improving English, kao i stranih On Screen, Traveller i Solutions. Ove udžbeničke setove je Ministarstvo prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja Republike Srbije nedavno odobrilo za upotrebu u srednjoškolskoj nastavi. Korpus je obuhvatao 20 udžbenika koji se koriste u nastavi engleskog od prvog do četvrtog razreda srednje škole (engl. intermediate, intermediate, upper-intermediate and advanced level). Rezultati su pokazali koje karakteristike članova (up. Huddleston & Pullum, 2002) su zastupljene u odabranim udžbenicima za nastavu engleskog jezika kao stranog, koji tipovi primera (kontekstualizovani ili izolovani) su uključeni, da li se zadaci i pojašnjenja posvećena članovima razlikuju među razredima i odabranim udžbenicima, kao i u kojoj meri se razlikuju gramatička pravila i vežbe posvećene članovima na primarnom (Veličković, 2021) i sekundarnom nivou obrazovanja. U skladu sa dobijenim rezultatima, iznete su pedagoške implikacije i predložene moguće intervencije u nastavi.
