Focus and Scope
Journal of Mining and Metallurgy, Section B: Metallurgy presents an international medium for the publication of contributions on the theory and practice of metallurgy.
Types of contributions: original research work not already published, review articles, plenary lectures and/or individual papers given at conferences, letters and book reviews.
The contents of this Journal are indexed and abstracted in:Science Citation Index Expanded (accessed via Web of Science®), Journal Citation Reports/Science Edition, Materials Science Citation Index, Elsevier Bibliographic Database, Chemical Abstracts, Scopus, Kobson, DOAJ - Directory of Open Access Journals, EBSCO Publishing and by Cabell’s Directories, All- Russian institute of Scientific and Technical Information.
Peer Review Process
The articles submitted to the Journal of Mining and Metallurgy Section B: Metallurgy (JMMB) for possible publication will be at first processed under the Editors evaluation. Only the articles which are prepared according to the instructions to authors and within the JMMB scope will be further preceded to the reviewing process.
After the Editors evaluation the articles will be under review. Referees will be invited to review each submission. When their reports have been completed, authors will be informed of the Editor's decision considering the papers' acceptability for publication in the JMMB and its required modifications.
The articles that have passed the reviewing process and are accepted will be published in one of the following issues. However, Editor-in-Chief has the last word concerning the issue in which each paper will be published. Also, Editor-in-Chief can, in his sole discretion, decide not to publish a paper. Authors of the papers will have to sign an copyright agreement before the proofs of the papers become available online.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle of the signed contracts with the publishers.

Journal History
University of Belgrade, Technical Faculty in Bor, has been publishing the journal called Journal of Mining and Metallurgy since 1965 and in 1997 it was divided in two independent journals dealing with mining and metallurgy separately. Since 2009 Journal of Mining and Metallurgy, Section B: Metallurgy has been accepted in Science Citation Index Expanded.
Journal of Mining and Metallurgy, Section B: Metallurgy presents an international medium for the publication of contributions on original research which reflect the new progresses in theory and practice of metallurgy. The Journal covers the latest research in all aspects of metallurgy including hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, electrometallurgy, transport phenomena, process control, solidification, mechanical working, solid state reactions, materials processing, surface treatment and relationships among processing, structure, and properties of materials.
