Sažetak
Позадина: Упала је препозната као карактеристична карактеристика развоја и напредовања рака. Циљ наше студије био је да се истражи значај серумског нивоа нуклеарног фактора каппа-Б (НФ-кБ) као циркулирајући маркер у монитору упале рака дојке и дебелог црева; приказати однос између НФ-кБ са инфламаторним параметрима као фактором некрозе тумора-α (ТНФ-α), растворљивим ТНФ-сродном апоптозом која индукује лиганд (сТРАИЛ), интерлеукин-6 (ИЛ-6), пентраксин-3 (ПТКС-3 ), нивоа прокалцитонина (ПЦТ) и Ц-реактивног протеина (ЦРП). Методе: Нивои серума НФ-кБ, ТНФ-α, сТРАИЛ, ИЛ-6, ПТКС-3, ПЦТ и нивоа ЦРП у серуму мерени су коришћењем ензима који је повезан са имуносорбентом (ЕЛИСА) код 40 пацијената са карциномом дојке, 40 пацијената са карциномом дебелог црева и 30 здравих контрола. Резултати: Концентрација НФ-кБ, ТНФ-α, ИЛ-6, ПТКС-3, ПЦТ и ЦРП у серуму била је значајно већа, а концентрација сТРАИЛ у серуму била је значајно нижа код пацијената са карциномом дојке и дебелог црева него код оних са здравом контролом . НФ-кБ су били у позитивној корелацији са ЦРП и негативни језгри са сТРАИЛ. Закључци: Ови резултати сугерирају да повећани НФ-кБ може умањити клиничку ефикасност сТРАИЛ-а у чврстим ћелијама тумора. Постоји веза између упале и карциногенезе тако да се развој карцинома дешава са хроничном упалом дојке и дебелог црева. Резултати студије су показали да пацијенти са карциномом дебелог црева и дојке имају појачану системску упалу, мерено повећаним циркулирајућим цитокинима и протеинима акутне фазе, или неправилностима у ћелијама у циркулацији. НФ-кБ се може комбиновати са другим маркерима системског инфламаторног одговора у прогностичким резултатима рака. Поред хируршке ресекције тумора, конвенционална радио- и хемотерапија за лечење рака, употреба сТРАИЛ-а или других агониста за терапију рака појавила се као нова потенцијална терапија.
