Nivoi alfa klotoa u plazmi kod gojaznih osoba
Sažetak
Pozadina: Kloto je gen protiv starenja koji produžava životni vek kada je prekomerno izražen i ubrzava starenje kada je poremećen. U našoj studiji ćemo istražiti korelacije između nivoa proteina a-Kloto (a-KL) u plazmi sa indeksom telesne mase (BMI), debljinom karotidne intime medije (CIMT), ukupnim antioksidativnim statusom (TAS), ukupnim oksidativnim statusom (TOS), indeksom oksidativnog stresa (OSI), visokosenzitivnim C-reaktivnim proteinom (hsCRP) i vrednostima holesterola kod gojaznih pacijenata.
Metode: Ova studija je sprovedena na jednocentričan i poprečni način.
Rezultati: Studija je sprovedena sa ukupno 90 učesnika, 35 žena (38,9%) i 55 muškaraca (61,1%). Od učesnika uključenih u studiju, 30 je imalo normalnu težinu (33,3%) (Grupa 1), 30 je imalo prekomernu težinu (33,3%) (Grupa 2) i 30 je bilo gojazno (33,3%) (Grupa 3). Postojale su statistički značajne razlike u vrednostima a-KL proteina (p=0,010), hsCRP (p<0,001), proceni insulinske rezistencije pomoću modela homeostaze (HOMA-IR) (p=0,022), vrednostima ispitivanih grupa. Nema značajne razlike između ispitivanih grupa u pogledu vrednosti CIMT (p=0,380), TOS (p=0,613), TAS (p=0,056) i OSI (p=0,943).
Zaključci: U zaključku, u ovoj studiji, grupa sa prekomernom težinom imala je vrednosti a-KL proteina koje su bile značajno više od gojazne grupe, dok su vrednosti hsCRP bile značajno više u gojaznoj grupi u poređenju sa grupama sa prekomernom i normalnom težinom. Nije bilo značajnih razlika za vrednosti CIMT, TAS, TOS i OSI u ispitivanim grupama. Nije bilo značajnih korelacija između vrednosti a-KL proteina sa vrednostima BMI, hsCRP, CIMT, TAS, TOS i OSI učesnika u studiji.
