Sažetak

Epitelijalni tumor vretenastih ćelija sa diferencijacijom sličnoj timusu (SETTLE ) je ekstremno rijedak tumor štitaste žlijezde za koji se smatra da se razvija iz škržne brazde ili ostataka timusa i koji pokazuje primitivnu diferencijaciju grudne žlijezde. Bio je spomenut 41 put do kraja juna 2015. u skladu sa dostupnom literaturom. Donosimo prikaz slučaja dvadesetrogodišnjeg muškarca u toku vremenskog praćenja od dvadeset i četiri mjeseca. Predstavljamo slučaj fokusirajući na patološku složenost i terapiju metastatske bolesti kod ovog rijetkog tumora. Ovo je prvi slučaj SETTLE tumora u Crnoj Gori. U trenutku postavljanja histopatološke dijagnoze SETTLE tumor je već bio u metastatskom stadijumu. Primarni tumor u štitastoj žlijezdi nikada nije pronađen.
