Rezultati nesupervizovanog programa kućnog vežbanja za unapređenje fizičke spremnosti i radne efikasnosti dobrovoljnih vatrogasaca: Pilot studija

Dobrovoljni vatrogasci obavljaju iste radne zadatke kao i profesionalni vatrogasci, ali mogu imati niži nivo fizičke spremnosti i biti u većem riziku od kardiovaskularnih bolesti. Cilj ove studije bio je da se ispita efekat osmonedeljnog nesupervizovanog programa kućnog vežbanja na fizičku spremnost i radnu efikasnost dobrovoljnih vatrogasaca. U istraživanju je učestvovalo 15 vatrogasaca (svi muškarci) koji su se dobrovoljno prijavili. Mere ishoda obuhvatale su antropometrijske parametre, zdravstvene pokazatelje (krvni pritisak i procenat telesne masti (%TM)), nivo fizičke spremnosti (kardiovaskularna izdržljivost, mišićna snaga, eksplozivnost i izdržljivost, fleksibilnost), motoričke sposobnosti (npr. Funkcionalni test pokreta – FMS) i radnu efikasnost (penjanje uz stepenice, povlačenje vatrogasnog creva, prenošenje opreme i povlačenje simuliranog povređenog). Između tačaka prikupljanja podataka, učesnici su sproveli osmonedeljni nesupervizovani program kućnog vežbanja, koji se sastojao od tri treninga nedeljno, uz korektivne vežbe zasnovane na rezultatima FMS testa. Od pet vatrogasaca koji su završili program, stopa pridržavanja iznosila je 47% (u rasponu od 33% do 70%). Snaga stiska desne ruke i FMS rezultati značajno su se poboljšali (p<0,05), uz tendenciju poboljšanja krvnog pritiska (p=0,054) i procenta telesne masti (p=0,084). S obzirom na poteškoće u obezbeđivanju supervizovanog programa vežbanja za dobrovoljne vatrogasce, nesupervizovani program kućnog vežbanja doveo je do određenih poboljšanja u njihovom zdravlju i fizičkoj spremnosti. Međutim, nesupervizovani program kućnog vežbanja može unaprediti pojedine aspekte fizičke spremnosti vatrogasaca, ali niska stopa učešća i pridržavanja programa predstavljaju glavne izazove. Pružanje samo nesupervizovanog programa kućnog vežbanja može imati ograničenu vrednost. Buduća istraživanja treba da se fokusiraju na strategije za poboljšanje pridržavanja nesupervizovanih programa vežbanja kod ove populacije.
