Распад бивше СР БиХ - дринско ратиште
Sažetak
Рат у бившој СР БиХ можемо да посматрамо кроз призму југословенске кризе, односно распада Социјалистичке Федеративне Републике Југославије. Босна и Херцеговина се налазила у срцу бивше СФРЈ и географски је повезивала Хрватску и Словенију на западу и северозападу, са Србијом и Македонијом на истоку и југоистоку, односно са Црном Гором на југу. Отцепљењем Словеније и Хрватске, Босна и Херцеговина више није представљала ту „синапсу“, тај чврст бедем јединства и суживота Срба, Хрвата и Муслимана. Године 1992. грађански рат се „прелио“ у СР БиХ и трајао је све до потписивања Дејтонског споразума 1995. године. У првом делу рада описујемо околности и догађаје који су довели до распада бивше СФРЈ. Увођење вишестраначја и демократски избори 1990. нису разрешили тензије које су се полако распламсавале. Сва три конститутивна народа у БиХ нису се могла договорити око уставног уређења будуће земље. Муслимани су инсистирали на стварању унитарне Босне, Хрвати су били за унију три етничке јединице, док су Срби били за очување СР БиХ у тадашњој СФРЈ, уз њену евентуалну федерализацију, односно конфедерализацију. Рат је био известан. У другом делу рада указујемо на стварање Републике Српске и Војске Републике Српске са акцентом на ратна дешавања у дринском подручју. Река Дрина, природна граница између Србије и Босне и Херцеговине, представља „жилу куцавицу“ опстанка, егзистенције и развоја српског народа у БиХ. У том смислу је противничка страна и покушавала да заузме то подручје да би прекинула везу између Републике Српске и матице Србије. На крају, на основу релевантних података и резултата истраживања дајемо свој суд о исходу рата, као и наслеђеним реперкусијама које оптерећују како садашње, тако и будуће генерације.
