Udruženost sistemskih oboljenja sa hroničnim pruritusom

Sažetak
Uvod. Pruritus je neprijatna senzacija koja izaziva želju za češanjem. Jedan je od najčešćih razloga zbog kojih se pacijenti javljaju dermatologu.
Cilj. Utvrditi povezanost hroničnog pruritusa sa kožnim i sistemskim oboljenjima, kao i starosnu i polnu distribuciju u ispitivanoj populaciji.
Metode. Studijom presjeka obuhvaćeno je 120 pacijenata oba pola koji su u periodu od januara 2017. do januara 2021. godine, ambulantno i bolnički, liječeni na Klinici za kožne i polne bolesti Univerzitetsko Kliničkog centra Republike Srpske (UKC RS) pod dijagnozom pruritusa. Kroz Klinički informacioni sistem (KIS) dobili smo uvid u medicinsku istoriju i ostalu dokumentaciju ispitanika iz koje smo uzimali podatke o dobi i polu ispitanika, početku, toku i trajanju pruritusa, dnevnih ili sezonskih varijacija intenziteta, kao i prisustvo pridruženih kožnih i sistemskih oboljenja.
Rezultati. Od ukupno 120 ispitanika, veći broj (53.3%) ispitanika sa hroničnim je bio muškog pola, a 46,7% ženskog pola, razlika je statistički značajna (p‹0.05). Analizom distribucije ispitanika prema dobi utvrđeno je da je navjeći broj ispitanika (62.6%) bio stariji od 65 godina, dok je 38,4% ispitanika bilo mlađe od 65 godina. Razlika u dobnoj strukturi je statistički značajna (p‹0.05). Kod ispitanika starijih od 65 godina, pruritus je najčešće (47.3%) bio udružen sa dijabetesom, a kod ispitanika mlađih od 65 godina sa kožnim oboljenja i stanjima. Razlika je statistički značajna (p‹0.05).
Zaključak. Kod osoba iznad 65 godina pruritus je najčešće udružen sa sistemskim bolestima (Diabetes mellitus), a kod osoba ispod 65 godina sa dermatološkim oboljenjima (Dermatitis atopica)
