Утицај Цовид-19 на потрошњу домаћинстава у Јужној Африци
Sažetak
Студија је мотивисана како је коронавирус (Цовид-19), потенцијално, утицао на потрошњу домаћинстава у Јужној Африци. То је зато што, прво, издаци за финалну потрошњу домаћинстава чине највећи удео у бруто домаћем производу (БДП) у Јужној Африци, и стога је значајан покретач економског раста. Друго, расходи домаћинстава се често користе као замена за утврђивање животног стандарда. Анализа је изведена из Анкете о домаћинствима и приходима и расходима (ХЕИС), са фокусом на период између 2010. и 2020. Резултати показују да је пандемија Цовид-19 имала негативан утицај на раст расположивог прихода и потрошњу домаћинстава на макро ниво. Заједно са другим окидачима, контракција локалне економије резултирала је губитком радних места, при чему је ниво незапослености порастао изнад 30% од трећег квартала 2020.
