Anticipacija postmodernih umetničkih praksi u popularnoj kulturi: Bitlsi

Sažetak


U radu se ukazuje na brisanje podele umetnosti na „visoku“ i „popularnu”, s posebnim osvrtom na popularnu muziku koja u datim okolnostima usvaja određene estetske standarde klasičnih muzičkih formi. Takođe se analizuje i obrnuti proces: popularizacija klasične muzike, u kompozitorsko-aranžerskom i izvođačkom smislu. Naročita pažnja posvećena je ulozi, statusu i domašaju popularne kulture/umetnosti u savremenim postmodernim poduhvatima. U tom kontekstu, Bitlsi predstavljaju paradigmatičan primer, budući da su u svojoj muzici koristili obilje postmodernih stvaralačkih postupaka. Autori ovoga rada izvršili su analizu dva karakteristična albuma Bitlsa (Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band i The Beatles, poznatiji kao „Beli album”) u kojima su primenjeni ključni principi postmoderne estetike.
