Poboljšanje čoveka i moral: neke teorijske nedoumice
Sažetak
Autor u radu preispituje ključne etičke zamisli koje prate ideju da se čovek može „moralno poboljšati“ uticajem na „moralni mozak“. Analizirajući glavni pristup savremenih neuroetičara, zapaža da su u ideji poboljšanja uglavnom izostavljeni normativno-etički i metaetički elementi bez kojih jasna predstava o tome šta se pod „moralnim poboljšanjem“ može smatrati – nije moguća. Autor skreće pažnju i na preterano oslanjanje na tehnološke postupke u proceni određenja i dometa moralnog poboljšanja. Na kraju rada analizira dva modela funkcionisanja „moralnog mozga“. Ta dva modela preuzeta su iz pop-kulture. Jedan je model dvostruke ličnosti dr Džekila i gospodina Hajda, preuzet iz književnosti i kasnijih filmskih adaptacija. Drugi je čuveni kompjuter koji ima ličnost, HAL 9000 iz čuvenog filma Odiseja u svemiru 2001.
