Molitva, građanski aktivizam i kultura: komparativna studija Srbije i Malte

Sažetak


Savremena otvorena društva karakteriše pluralizam koji ukazuje na razlike u vrednostima i praksi. Religioznost i građanski aktivizam (društvena uključenost) isprepleteni su na različite načine, a procesi se menjaju širom Balkana i južne Evrope. Shodno tome, u ovom radu predstavljamo rezultate istraživanja koje je imalo za cilj da ispita odnose između (a) sociodemografskih varijabli, (b) vrste molitve koju ljudi praktikuju i (v) građanskog aktivizma u Srbiji (Balkan) i na Malti (južna Evropa). Upitnici istog sadržaja distribuirani su na Malti (na engleskom) i u Srbiji (na srpskom). Naša analiza otkriva i sličnosti i razlike koje se odnose na sledeća dva glavna obrasca: (1) sve vrste molitvi su u značajnoj korelaciji sa građanskim aktivizmom u obe zemlje i (2) učestalost različitih vrsta molitvi i korelacije između specifičnih vrsta molitvi i građanskog aktivizma, različito su rangirane u obe zemlje. Diskusija u ovom radu fokusira se na implikacije pomenutih obrazaca za savremena otvorena društva i interkulturalni dijalog.
