Vojna obaveza kao deo srpskog etosa

Sažetak


Cilj rada bio je da se opiše i objasni zašto je postojanje obaveznog služenja vojnog roka optimalan model vojske u Republici Srbiji, i to iz nedovoljno istražene perspektive prirode i pozicije vojske u srpskom nacionalnom etosu. Autori analiziraju dosad ponuđene težišne argumente za obavezno služenje vojnog roka, a potom, sagledavanjem karakteristika srpskog kolektivnog etosa, preciziraju ulogu i prirodu vojske koja se konstituisala akumuliranim istorijskim iskustvom srpskog naroda. Poredeći različite savremene modele oružanih snaga, njihove prednosti, mane, implikacije i društvenu prirodu, autori zaključuju da je postojanje vojne obaveze svojstveno srpskom nacionalnom etosu, da je kompatibilno s pretpostavkama srpskog nacionalnog identiteta i da predstavlja optimalan oblik vojske u Republici Srbiji.
