Navike u ishrani i fizička aktivnost tokom restrikcije kretanja izazvane COVID-19 pandemijom: iskustva bolesnica sa karcinomom dojke na adjuvantnoj hormonalnoj terapiji

Uvod/Cilj: S obzirom na to da je pandemija COVID-19 dovela do stroge karantinske situacije u Srbiji, stanovništvo je doživelo drastične promene u načinu života. Fizičko distanciranje, samoizolacija, ograničena dostupnost osnovnih prehrambenih proizvoda i stres nastao usled otežane dostupnosti terapije tokom pandemije, posebno su uticali na život ranjivih grupa, poput pacijentkinja s karcinomom dojke (KD). Cilj ove studije bio je ispitanje promena u navikama u ishrani i fizičkoj aktivnosti postmenopauzalnih pacijentkinja s KD-om koje su na adjuvantnoj hormonalnoj terapiji tokom restrikcije kretanja uvedene tokom COVID-19 pandemije. Metode: Ukupno 32 žene, tretirane inhibitorima aromataze (IA), odgovarale su na telefonske intervjue putem strukturiranog upitnika. Upitnik je za cilj imao prikupljanje podataka o navikama u ishrani (unosa određenih namirnica na dnevnom/nedeljnom nivou, kao i promena u uobičajenom izboru hrane), unosu suplemenata, promenama težine i zastupljenosti fizičke aktivnosti pre i tokom restrikcije kretanja. Rezultati: Rezultati su pokazali da su pacijentkinje češće kuvale (46,9% ispitanica) i konzumirale domaće slatkiše i voće, dok su manje konzumirale svežu ribu usled problema u nabavci namirnica, što je potvrdilo 31,2% učesnica ankete. Skoro 41% pacijentkinja s KD-om tretiranih IA prijavile su povećan unos hrane, 87,5% smanjenu fizičku aktivnost, a to je kod čak 46,9% ispitanica dovelo do povećanja telesne težine. Unos suplemenata je udvostručen. Zaključak: Restrikcija kretanja usled COVID-19, koja je podrazumevala zabranu izlaska iz kuće, dovela je do pogoršanja zdravstvenih rizika i uticala na navike u ishrani i redovnu fizičku aktivnost. Ove promene imaju  potencijalno negativni uticaj na dugoročno zdravlje pacijentkinja s KD tretiranih IA.
