Sažetak


U ovom preglednom radu obrađeni su osnovni pojmovi o biljkama koje ispoljavaju dermatološko delovanje na čoveka. Najčešći oblik fitodermatoza je kontaktni dermatitis, a najčešći dermatološki simptom je ekcem. Da bi se olakšalo razumevanje fitodermatoza, reakcije kože izazvane kontaktom sa biljkama podeljene su na sledeći način: alergijski kontaktni dermatitis, kontaktni iritativni dermatitis, kontaktna urtikarija i fitofoto dermatitis. Većina reakcija od hemijskih biljnih iritanata potiču od sedam osnovnih iritantnih grupa: kalcijum oksalata, protoanemonina, izotiocijanata, diterpen estera, bromelaina i alkaloida. Oni su rastvoreni ili suspendovani u sokovima smeštenim u specifičnim organelama u stablu, lišću, cvetu, plodu i korenu biljaka.
