PARAKVAT I DRUGI HERBICIDI – DESIKANTI I IZBELJIVAČI – NJIHOV UTICAJ NA KOROVE, USEVE I ZDRAVLJE LJUDI I ŽIVOTINJA
Sažetak
U radu je dat pregled različitih aspekata desikanata i izbeljivačkih herbicida, iz raznih hemijskih grupa, kojima je zajedničko da isušuju i izbeljuju lisnu masu. U korovskim biljkama mogu delovati kao totalni ili selektivni herbicidi, a primenjeni u zrelim fazama useva, isušivanjem lisne mase promovišu sazrevanje nekih važnih useva (suncokret, soja, krompir). Manje više svi ovi raznorodni herbicidi su visoke ili znatne toksičnosti što umnogome komplikuje njihovu primenu. U EU došlo je do inicijative za zabranu nekih od njih (npr. parakvat). Ipak, mišljenja smo, da uprkos njihovoj znatnoj toksičnosti, treba iste imati u vidu kao alternativu nekim drugim herbicidima.
