Journal Resuscitatio Balcanica (JRB) is a quarterly interdisciplinary medical journal published by the Resuscitation Council of Serbia, the leading professional organization in the field of resuscitation medicine in Serbia and the official partner of the European Resuscitation Council for Serbia.

The journal is published by the Resuscitation Council of Serbia and its publication is made exclusively from the membership fee of the Council, and publication is possible only when the author or all co-authors are members of the council or a member of a partner organization from the country or abroad.

Published papers relate to the etiology and prevention of cardiac arrest, resuscitation training, clinical resuscitation, rapid response systems and ethical issues in resuscitation medicine.

Experimental resuscitation research papers (including animal studies) are published occasionally, only if they are of exceptional interest and directly related to clinical cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Papers related to trauma are published occasionally, but most of them concern specific traumatic cardiac arrest.

Letters to the editor are welcome, especially regarding articles published in Journal Resuscitatio Balcanica. Journal Resuscitatio Balcanica does not publish case reports.

Papers published in JRB are indexed by biomedical index databases:

- COBIS

- CrossRef

- DOAI

Časopos is referenced in the Serbian Citation Index where, through constant monitoring, evaluation of journals is carried out with regard to influence (impact) in the database itself and supplementary citation indexes of WoS.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR AUTHORS
