INTENZITET MODULISANA RADIOTERAPIJA U POSTOPERATIVNOM LEČENJU KARCINOMA GRLIĆA MATERICE

Sažetak


Uvod: Postoperativna radioterapija kod pacijentkinja sa karcinomom grlića materice značaj­no smanjuje rizik za nastanak lokoregionalnog relapsa bolesti, ali je istovremeno povezana sa povećanom toksičnošću na okolnim zdravim organima i tkivima. Pojava komplikacija može značajno da smanji kvalitet života pacijentkinja i pored postignute kompletne remisije bolesti.

Cilj: U ovom preglednom radu predstavljena je savremena tehnika zračenja – intenzitet mo­dulisana radioterapija (IMRT), njene prednosti i mane. Navedeni su i rezultati značajnih stu­dija koje su se bavile primenom IMRT u postoperativnom lečenju karcinoma grlića materice sa ciljem smanjenja akutne i kasne toksičnosti.

Zaključak: U odnosu na ranije korišćene metode radioterapije, IMRT je kompleksna radiote­rapijska tehnika, tehnički i vremenski zahtevnija, kojom se postiže eskalacija doze u ciljnom volumenu uz bolju poštedu zdravih organa i smanjenje učestalosti akutnih i hroničnih kom­plikacija, čime se postiže poboljšanje kvaliteta života nakon sprovedenog lečenja. Poseban značaj IMRT ima u postoperativnom lečenju karcinoma grlića materice, s obzirom na to da se radi o pacijentkinjama sa dobrom prognozom.
