„PLAĆANJE IZ DŽEPA” ZA ZDRAVSTVENU ZAŠTITU

RAZLIKE U ODNOSU NA GODINE STAROSTI I POL

Sažetak


„Plaćanje iz džepa” za zdravstvenu zaštitu kao jedan od načina finansiranja zdravstvene zaštite prisutan je u mnogim državama i može dovesti do finansijskog opterećenja domaćinstva usled korišćenja i plaćanja zdravstvene zaštite i uskraćivanja drugih dobara koja obezbeđuju očekivani standard života. Učestalost plaćanja iz džepa je često povezivana sa polom i godinama starosti. Biološke i socijalno – ekonomske razlike između polova zajedno sa razlikama koje nastaju u procesu starenja mogu uticati na češću pojavu finansijskog opterećenja usled „plaćanja iz džepa”. Između muškaraca i žena postoji razlika u pojavi malignih bolesti (specifičnih za pol), razlika u korišćenju zdravstvene zaštite, zastupljenosti hroničnih bolesti, samoproceni zdravlja, siromaštvu, finansijskoj nezavisnosti, tipu domaćinstva u kojima žive. Pomenute razlike mogu dovesti i do različite učestalosti „plaćanja iz džepa” i finansijskog opterećenja usled plaćanja zdravstvene zaštite.
