Sažetak

U poslednje dve decenije, implantacija totalne proteze kolena, postala jedna od najdominantnijih operativnih procedura u ortopedskoj hirurgiji i traumatologiji. Svedoci smo sve starijeg stanovništva na globalnom nivou, posledično čemu se iz godine u godinu povećava broj pacijenata sa osteoartritisima čiji klinički nalaz i subjektivne tegobe zahtevaju implantaciju totalne proteze kolena. Velika većina operativno lečenih pacijenata u dugom period praćenja izražava zadovoljstvo lečenjem, ali određen procenat pacijenata nema zadovoljavajući rezultat. U najvećoj meri, razlozi za nezadovoljstvo su posledica komplikacija intraoperativnog ili postoperativnog lečenja. Cilj ovog rada je da se sistematizuju sve potencijalne komplikacije, kao i načini njihove dijagnostike i daljeg lečenja u kliničkoj praksi, ali i da se ukaže na moguće uzroke koji do njih dovode kako u preoperativnoj selekciji pacijenata za operativno lečenje, tako i u intraoperativnom i postoperativnom toku lečenja.
