Динамика тржишта живине у Гани
Sažetak
Овај рад испитује динамику тржишта живине у Гани користећи секундарне податке и теренску анкету из четири региона укључујући Велику Акру, Ашанти, Северну и Западну. Разматра тренд и анализу садржаја како би се истакли специфични увезени производи, извори, покретачи и потенцијал домаће живине да замени увоз. Лист потврђује да Гана увози око 80% живинског меса углавном у облику брендираних делова (буткова, крила, ногу, леђа и изнутрице) из земаља са високим приходима, укључујући Белгију, САД, Бразил, Пољску и Холандију. Упркос повећању царина за 35%, увезено живинско месо обично је 27-30% јефтиније од локално произведене пилетине. Налаз даље показује да иако постоји одређена преференција за домаће живинско месо, то се не претвара у одлуке о куповини због склоности према приручнијим производима спремним за употребу. У раду се препоручује давање приоритета политикама за подстицање локалне производње кроз улагање у прераду (резане делове), паковање у брендове и маркетиншке објекте као што су хладњаци. Надаље, политике за смањење обима увоза пилећег меса могу бити фокусиране на друге нецаринске мјере као што су дозволе, додјеле, трговински ембарго, девизна ограничења и увозни депозитари.
