Sažetak


Bankarski sektor u Republici Srbiji se može okarakterisati kao izuzetno likvidan. Osnovni razlozi za visoku likvidnost su smanjenje kreditne aktivnosti banaka i rast udela problematičnih kredita u ukupnim kreditima u postkriznom periodu. Cilj ovog rada je ocena uticaja inicijalnog udara svetke ekonomske krize i osnovnih makroekonomskih pokazatelja na likvidnost bankarskog sektora. Rezultati istraživanja idu u prilog oceni da rast GDP-a, pad nezaposlenosti, smanjenje deficita platnog bilansa i smanjenje inflacije utiču na smanjenje likvidnosti. Generalni zaključak jeste da je u Republici Srbiji potrebno sprovesti ekonomske mere koje bi išle u tom pravcu, čime bi se likvidnost sektora dovela na optimalan nivo.
