Regardless of historical order of their occurrence, today still doesn’t exist unique and generally accepted theory. Especially in context of problematic which is area of occurrence of sport management. They are evolving , mutually complement, and sometimes merge. Usually, the most used approach is eclectic approach as combination of principals from different theories, which is characteristic of new theoretical approaches to management. Although are in sport activity differentiated two dominant sport-organizing models: European and American, still can’t explicitly talk about authentic European or American model of sport management. Because of that, consideration and study of different modern management theories, respectively identifications of possible “points” of applicability, imposes as necessary process which contributes to development and promotion of sport management theory (and praxis). Two theories on which is directed attention in this written work are: Japanese management and “Z” theory as potential models for applying in sport organizations.
