MARKET CONCENTRATION AND FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT IN THE FINANCIAL LEASING SECTOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA
Abstract
Tržište finansijskog lizinga u prethodnim godinama karakterše rast, a očekuje se da će globalno tržište finansijkog lizinga značajno rasti u narednom periodu. Pored toga, zemlje u razvoju se trude da privuku što više strani direktnih investicija (SDI) kako bi ubrzale ekonomski rast i postigle makroekonomsku stabilnost. Cilj ovog rada je da se utvrdi da li postoji povezanost između stranih direktnih investicija (SDI) i nivoa tržišne koncentracije u sektoru finansijskog lizinga Republike Srbije, kao i da se utvrdi da li je ta povezanost dugoročna ili kratkoročna. Korišćeni su kvartalni podaci za period od prvog kvartala 2006. godine do prvog kvartala 2019. godine. Za analizu podataka je korišćen autogergresivni model distribuiranih docnji (ARDL) i test graničnih vrednosti (bounds test). Rezultati su pokazali da postoji negativna povezanost između SDI i nivoa tržišne koncentracije u sektoru finansijkog lizinga Republike Srbije u dugom roku, dok u kratkom roku nije utvrđena statistički značajna povezanost između SDI i nivoa tržišne koncentracije.
