Sažetak


Циклотуризам односно бициклистички туризам, последњих година доживљава изузетан успон, у Европи, као и код нас.У складу са жељама, потребама и навикама савременог туристе који жели нову врсту одмора едукативан, авантуристички и физички активан, и који своје упориште добија у развоју овог облика селективног туризма.Савремени туриста своје слободно време (одмор) проводи активно, односно покушава да се прилагоди животу локалног становништва, где спознаје аутентичности туристичке дестинације. Задатак истраживања је испитати циклотуристичке ресурсе Западнобачког округа као и указати на потенцијалне недостатке у циљу могућности даљег развоја овакве врсте туризма као посебног облика туристичке понуде.За потребе рада коришћен је упитник на основу ког се дошло до закључка да спороведени пројекат „Аmazon of Europe Bike Trail“ је у недовољној мери унапредио постојеће циклотуристичке ресурсе као и циклоинфраструктуру овог краја.
