Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in LaTeX or Microsoft Word (.docx) format. If the article was done in LaTeX, a LaTeX file with all the images and a BibTex file are packed in the zip file.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.

The text is single-spaced; uses a 11-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses).
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end; references are written in a separate section at the end of the paper (even when they are written in footnotes).
- If the paper was written within a project financed by the Serbian Ministry of Science, both the title and ID of the project is stated in the paper under Acknowledgements.
- Abstracts and keywords are written in two languages (a) Serbian, (b) English; exceptionally in some other world language if it is widely used within particular field of science.
Original Scientific Papers
Original scientific papers (giving the previously unpublished results of the author’s own research based on scientific methods).Review Papers
Review papers (giving an original, detailed and critical view of a research problem or an area to which the author has made a contribution demonstrated by self-citation).
Short Reports
Short communications (original scientific full papers but shorter character).
Preliminary Reports
Preliminary communications (original scientific full papers but preliminary character).
Scientific Criticism
Scientific criticism (polemic) is a discussion on a specific scientific topic based exclusively on scientific argumentation.
Professional Papers
Professional papers (contributions offering experience useful for improvement of professional practice but not necessarily based on scientific methods).
Letters to the editor
Letters to the editor are the usually an informal, unsolicited, brief notation submitted to a journal concerning a specific finding or commenting on a previously published item in journal.
Modern weapons and military equipment
The Modern Weapons and Military Equipment Section contains information on modern weapon systems and state-of-the-art military technology (translations or original texts). Contributions published in this Section do not belong to scientific or professional articles and are not indexed in the Serbian Citation Index.
