Agile Serbia Conference gathers Agile Leaders

For the third year in a row, Belgrade (Serbia) will be the meeting place of the world-renowned IT and Agile experts! Agile Serbia Conference will be held on the 27th of April, with the main topics: Agile methodologies, leadership and software development. Beside the topics intersting and current in the software developmet world, the conference is a great opportunity for networking; there is a great interest for attendance and a lot of interactive content.

Over 500 visitors from more than 10 European countries will have an opportunity to listen to the world renowned Agile & IT experts. There will be lectures, discussions and workshops on three stages, and Coaching Corner to get to know your favorite Agile Coaches! Coaching Corner is a space intended for personal communication among the Agile Coaches and the participants of the conference. The participants can approach the coaches, meet them in person, and ask them questions about Agile developement through 15-minute sessions.

In addition to this opportunity for closer contact with the lecturers, an additional opportunity will be match making, i.e. networking through MatchAbout application. This application is developed by the organizer of the conference, Puzzle Software company, and it enables interpersonal communication through match making by business interests, contact requests, polls, prize games, Q&A sessions, etc.

For the first time on the EPIC (main) stage, there will be held a panel discussion, moderated by Petri Heiramo, an Agile Coach. Panelists will be Bob Hartman, Aludena Rodriguez Pardo, Karl Scotland, and Marc Loffler, and the topic is „What shall we do with Managers in an Agile organization?“.

We will briefly introduce several lecturers from the EPIC stage:

Bob Hartman – know as Agile Bob; over 30 yeats in software industry; trained more than 10000 people; worked with 100+ companies like Whole Foods Market, CNN, Ticketmaster, US Air Force, HBO, Northwestern University; board member of the Scrum Alliance for 2015.

Marcello Duarte – the best Agile Coach in United Kingdom for 2014; multiple times awardes at software competitions; created the oldest PHP/BDD tool (PhpSpec) which counts 11 million downloads until now.

Karl Scotland – worked with companies like BBC, Yahoo, EMC Consulting, Cisco; founder of Lean Systems Society and Limited WIP Society; awarded with the honorary Brickell Key Community Contribution Award at the 2013 Lean Kanban North America conference.

Jesper Boeg – one of the leading Agile and Lean experts in Denmark; trained over 150 teams in 50+ companies, i.e. more than 3000 people in Agile, Scrum, Kanban and Toyota Kata; trackhost at numerous GOTO and Qcon conferences; author of two very popular mini books: „Real Life Scrum“ and „Priming Kanban“.

Marc Löffler – Project Manager for Volkswagen and Siemens; author of the book „Improving Agile Retrospectives“, published in the Mike Cohn signature series by Addison-Wesley Professional; works with companies like Bosch, Daimler i Audi; speaker at around 50 conferences across Europe.

Olaf Lewitz – more than 15 years in the world of Agile; co-founder of TrustTemenos Leadership academy; in 2016, together with Christine Neidhardt, he published book about leadership „Showing Up“.
